About the Role
As our Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll lead the function that shapes how the world sees, understands and connects with our organisation.
This is a senior, strategic role where you'll:
* Lead the Marketing and Communications department, with end-to-end accountability for brand, commercial marketing, communications and PR
* Set the direction and define the operating model for an integrated marketing, communications and PR department
* Own standards for brand, messaging and stakeholder engagement, ensuring consistency and quality across the organisation
* Strengthen organisational reputation and influence as a conservation and eco-tourism leader
* Balance purpose-led storytelling with commercial objectives to support visitation, revenue and long-term sustainability
* Act as a trusted advisor to the Executives and senior leaders on brand, reputation, risk and performance
* Drive planning, prioritisation and budget management, aligning effort to the highest-impact opportunities
* Lead, coach and performance-manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes
* Build strong internal partnerships and represent Nature Parks with government, tourism bodies and sector partners

About You

You'll also need:
* A relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience)
* A Working with Children Check
* National Police Check
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong understanding of marketing and communications delivery
* Experience across campaigns, content and channels, with the ability to prioritise work effectively.
* Proven capability managing priorities, workflow and deadlines
* Ability to balance competing demands and ensure work is delivered on time and to standard.
* Developed organisational and traffic management skills
* Experience tracking work, identifying risks or bottlenecks, and adjusting plans as needed.
* Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to set clear expectations, manage requests, and communicate changes to priorities or timing.
* Sound judgement in assessing and scoping work
* Experience reviewing briefs, clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment before progressing.
* Experience coordinating marketing and communications activity
* Exposure to campaigns and BAU activity delivered across multiple channels.
* High attention to detail with strong process discipline
* Ability to maintain accurate tracking, reporting and documentation.
* Practical problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Confidence to make day-to-day prioritisation decisions and recommend adjustments.
* Proficiency with relevant systems and tools
* Experience using project management, workflow or marketing systems, including CMS or similar.
* Proven experience leading and developing teams, with deliberate focus on performance and culture.
* Including setting clear standards, building capability, managing performance, and shaping a positive, inclusive and psychologically safe workplace.
