The Client A specialist engineering and manufacturing company based in Wollongong, designing and building high-spec HVAC systems for the global Oil & Gas industry. Their equipment supports major international projects, and with a strong pipeline of work, including a large delivery program scheduled for 2026, we are growing our workshop team. This is a great opportunity to step into a stable, workshop-based role working on high-quality engineered equipment, alongside a skilled and supportive production team. The Role This is a hands-on position within Stolway’s Wollongong manufacturing workshop, where you’ll be involved in assembling and commissioning custom HVAC systems built for international projects. Working closely with the Workshop Coordinator and production team, your work will include: Assembling HVAC systems using engineering drawings Testing, fault-finding and commissioning equipment Completing quality and project documentation Maintaining strong safety and workshop standards Supporting and mentoring apprentices within the team The equipment you’ll work on is custom-built and technically interesting, offering a refreshing change from repetitive service work. About You You’re a qualified Refrigeration or HVAC Technician who enjoys working with your hands and takes pride in producing quality work. Ideally, you’ll bring: Trade qualification in Refrigeration / HVAC Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence NSW Contractor or Supervisor Licence (or ability to obtain) Experience within commercial or industrial HVAC Confidence reading technical drawings Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety If you enjoy working within a team, building specialised equipment, and seeing projects through from start to finish, this role will suit you well.
