About us
NLS is NSW's number-one provider of Gymnastics Coaches/Instructors for schools, clubs, OSHC and Councils. We have positions all over Sydney including but our focus for this particular term is in the Penrith area.
We are looking for Gymnastics Coaches/Instructors to come and join us in delivering amazing gymnastics programs across a number of primary education centres.
All of our coaches must have (or be willing to apply for) a current Working with Children check. We are looking for someone with a valuable level of experience and willing to give children a thorough experience through Gymnastics.
We have positions available across Sydney for various Gymnastics coaching roles for primary aged children. North Shore, Inner West, Sutherland, Eastern Suburbs & Western Sydney is where we have programs available.
Qualifications & Experience
- Sports coaching/playing experience
- PAID Working with Children (WWC) Check
- Child Protection Training (Preferred)
- First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Coaching
- Attend and conduct all training sessions
- Attend and facilitate all competition games (if required)
- Being Reliable and Organised
Additional Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of standard coaching practices
- Independently handle multiple sporting priorities
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships & communicate clearly & effectively with students, staff, administrators, and at times parents/guardians
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential matters with tact and diplomacy, and to maintain confidentiality of information as needed or to protect the rights of individual students
- Ability to communicate with an ethnically and culturally diverse community
