Current Opportunity

In this newly created position, the Production Business Analyst will sit within the Production Engineering (CSG) team and will be a crucial role that will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role will require reactive work (responding to emergent issues) and the ability to balance with long term projects related to improving business processes in production reporting (generating required data and creating long-term reporting tools) and optimisation.

Key accountabilities will include:

- Assisting in the collection and analysis of production data to identify trends and performance metrics
- Supporting the preparation of regular reports and dashboards for various stakeholders
- Work closely with production teams to gather insights and provide recommendations for production process improvements
- Participate in the development of methodologies for data collection and analysis
- Help maintain and update production databases and documentation
- Develop and maintain metrics to monitor production performance
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
- Provide support for audits and quality control processes.

About You

As the ideal candidate, you will have a passion for supporting data collection, analysis, improving processes to optimise production operations and driving results, providing technical and analytical support to the team.

In addition, you will have

- Minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience, of which minimum2 years of experience in as a production, Business and or Data Analyst or related role
- Experience with production systems and database management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large amounts of data
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, with experience creating and analyzing complex spreadsheets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
