The Infrastructure Operations Manager will oversee the daily planning, maintenance, and management of yourtown's IT infrastructure, ensuring it remains reliable, secure, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the high-performing Infrastructure team, fostering collaboration, innovation, performance and service orientation.
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including servers, storage systems, networks, and cloud environments, aligning with organisational goals.
- Ensure infrastructure scalability, reliability, and security supporting business growth and technological advancements.
- Manage network operations (WAN, LAN, VPN, firewalls, load balancers) to ensure reliable connectivity across all locations.
- Lead migration to and management of Azure cloud-based services, optimising for cost‐effectiveness, security, and performance.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading and managing IT infrastructure operations with strategic oversight.
- ITIL certification or other relevant certifications (highly advantageous).
- Ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non‐technical stakeholders.
- Strong reporting skills with experience in writing executive‐level communications and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills to support data‐driven decisions
