Systems Administrator

About the Role:
As a Systems Administrator, you'll install, support, and maintain enterprise systems, ensuring maximum uptime and security. You'll collaborate with technical teams, provide expert-level support, and lead projects that enhance our infrastructure.
The position requires flexibility to travel to remote data centres, as well as the ability to work from home when necessary for after-hours break-fix support.
This is a full-time, on-site role, with attendance required five days a week to support collaboration, strengthen team connections, and ensure seamless service across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy infrastructure.
* Administer Microsoft platforms including Office 365, Azure services, and SharePoint.
* Support VMware virtualization and storage environments.
* Monitor system performance, apply patches, and ensure compliance with security policies.
* Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.
* Document infrastructure designs and processes.
* Provide technical mentoring and collaborate on projects to deliver innovative solutions.
About You:
You're a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical foundation and a passion for continuous improvement. You excel at managing multiple priorities, have exceptional communication skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
To be successful, you will have:
* A relevant bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in systems administration.
* Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware vSphere.
* Proven experience with Microsoft technologies including SCCM, SharePoint, SQL Server, and Office 365.
* Strong knowledge of network protocols and storage administration.
* Industry certifications and experience with Linux environments (highly regarded).
* Excellent documentation, analytical, and project management skills.
