The Role
We're seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our energetic and collaborative team based in West Perth. You'll work closely within a supportive small payroll team, and benefit from ongoing professional development as part of our existing HR and Financial functions.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end payroll processing for casual and permanent staff
* Manage multiple pay cycles with accuracy and efficiency
* Ensure compliance with relevant awards and legislation
* Respond to payroll queries and provide exceptional employee support
* Assist with leave management, superannuation, MyLeave and other Statutory payments
* Contribute to process improvements and payroll system enhancements
* Assist with payroll audits and reporting
About You
* Eligible to work in Australia
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a payroll role
* Proficient in Pronto (essential); experience with Flow Centric and My Leave is a plus
* Proven ability to manage high-volume payrolls
* Experience gained from a construction or mining environment highly regarded
* Adaptable and responsive in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Award interpretation experience highly regarded
