Senior Consultant – Corporate Tax – Private Clients
The opportunity
As a Senior Consultant in our Private Tax team, you will work with established large private businesses, corporates, high net worth individuals and families, and entrepreneurial start‐up businesses. You will have significant opportunities for learning, career advancement, and exposure to both private and corporate clients, including cross‐border and international tax work. Your Key Responsibilities
* Drive our team's success by managing a vibrant portfolio of growth clients—including privately owned corporate groups operating in Australia and overseas, local businesses, high‐net‐worth families, trusts, and a variety of other private entities.
* Support the team in handling tax compliance, preparing financial statements, planning, and offering advisory services to a broad spectrum of clients, covering companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
* Collaborate to deliver expert consulting advice to privately owned corporate groups, high‐net‐worth individuals, family businesses, and their owners on complex tax issues, including corporate restructures, domestic and international transactions, capital gains tax, Division 7A matters, and specialised trust concerns.
Skills and Attributes for Success
* Solid background in tax consulting, especially within top‐tier or second‐tier accounting or legal firms.
* Proven track record supporting junior staff and helping them flourish in their roles.
* Extensive expertise in tax matters for corporate groups, trusts, and individuals.

* Hands‐on experience managing a diverse client portfolio, ensuring every relationship is nurtured and every client feels valued.
* Solid tax expertise, ideally gained from working in an Australian professional services environment.
* Top‐notch client‐facing skills, with the confidence to take charge of meetings and effortlessly build a strong professional network.

* Salary: We offer a competitive salary, open to negotiation based on skills and experience. The salary range for this role is AUD 85,000 to AUD 110,000 inclusive of superannuation, depending on skills, experience, and work location.
