About the Role

As a Student Experience Advisor, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional student support and service. This pivotal role requires a high level of professionalism, empathy, and adaptability to cater to diverse student needs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with students, staff, and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with a keen eye for detail, are essential in managing multiple priorities and tasks.

This position is based on our Melbourne Campus, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing an outstanding student experience.

* Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to students in-person and online, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of administrative queries.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for non-academic student inquiries, focusing on domestic students and fostering meaningful connections.
* Maintain accurate records and work to resolve student enquires through case management.
* Collaborate with the Enrolments Coordinator to process tuition fees and other payments in conjunction with the finance team.
* Issue student cards and official documentation, while assisting in maintaining the student database.
* Support student engagement events, contribute to regular team meetings, and actively participate in achieving domestic student retention targets.


Key Responsibilities

This role entails a range of responsibilities, including:

* Providing expert advice and guidance to students in-person and online.

* Issuing student cards and official documentation.
* Maintaining the student database and supporting student engagement events.


Education and Skills

To excel in this role, you will require:

* A minimum of one year's experience in student services within a higher education environment.
* Demonstrated ability to work with student management systems, learning management systems, and student service systems (desired but not essential).
* A diploma qualification or higher (preferred).
* Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Able to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize tasks to ensure successful completion.
