The Role
We are seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist to join a high-profile Defence program. This role offers both long-term contract and full-time employment options, providing flexibility for the right candidate. You will play a critical role in supporting projects through the One Defence Capability System, ensuring successful progression through capability gate reviews and contributing to the sustainment of key Defence assets.

As an ILS Specialist, you will collaborate with Commonwealth project teams and stakeholders to develop ILS artefacts, manage project plans, and provide expert advice on logistics policies and legislation. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to navigate complex acquisition environments.

Key Responsibilities
Work alongside Commonwealth project teams to support projects through the One Defence Capability System, including development of documentation for capability gate reviews.
Liaise with Defence and non-Defence stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.
Contribute to or develop ILS artefacts supporting project milestones.
Manage ILS project plans to completion with key Defence stakeholders.
Perform Contract Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) item reviews.
Provide advice and expertise on ILS policies and legislation for Defence stakeholders.
Analyse complex logistics issues and deliver actionable recommendations.

What You'll Need
Industry-recognised ILS qualification or certification.
Demonstrated experience in Defence acquisition ILS policy, processes, and procedures.
Experience evaluating contractor material logistics activities to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Proven track record in achieving Fundamental Input to Capability (FIC) assurance statements for IOC/FOC.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Experience leading teams within complex stakeholder environments.
Proactive approach to identifying risks, issues, and opportunities.

Security Clearance Requirement
