Overview
A Food Service Assistant is responsible for preparing and delivering high‐quality meals to patients while maintaining safe food hygiene practices within the catering department.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and provide a quality food service to patients.
* Maintain safe food hygiene standards and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
* Assist with the upkeep of catering equipment and facilities as required.
Qualifications
* Valid working visa for fixed‐term appointments or Australian citizen, permanent resident or indefinite visa holder for permanent appointments.
* Ability to perform the physical tasks required for food preparation and service.
* Integrity and ethical behaviour; requirement to undergo criminal record screening and integrity checks.
