We are seeking an eager and motivated Trades Assistant to join our Trailer Shed in Coffs Harbour on a full time basis.
This role is well suited to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys a hands-on approach

What You'll Do:
This role is well suited to someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys a hands-on approach:
* Assisting qualified tradespeople with mechanical repairs and panel work
* Preparing vehicles, components, and work areas for mechanical work
* Using hand and power tools to support mechanical tasks
* Preparing surfaces for fibreglassing (cleaning, sanding, masking)
* Mixing resins and applying fibreglass materials under supervision
* Trimming, sanding, and finishing fibreglass components to specification
* Supporting repairs to vehicle bodies, panels, and structural components
What You'll Bring:
* Prior experience working in a mechanical workshop environment
* The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
* Have an eager and positive mindset
* Clear and concise communication skills
* Motivated, reliable and a good work ethic
