* About the Role
Barkly Regional Council is looking for Municipal Workers to join our Elliott team This hands-on role helps keep our town clean, safe, and looking great by delivering reliable municipal and essential services.
You'll help maintain our parks, gardens, and community spaces by mowing, whipper snipping, and collecting rubbish, as well as cleaning public facilities, checking and maintaining equipment, and assisting with waste collection and other manual tasks. You'll also operate and maintain irrigation systems to keep our green spaces healthy.
We're looking for reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious people who take pride in their community. You may also be required to work across other Barkly communities as needed.

* Reliable with the ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
* Ability to prioritise workloads, manage work tasks as required, and problem-solve.
* Driver's Licence.
* National Police Criminal History Check.
* CPCWHS1001 Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).

* You are reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a hands-on work environment.
* You have strong interpersonal skills and can engage respectfully with colleagues, customers, and community members.
* You are proactive, safety-conscious, and adaptable, thriving in a remote or physically demanding work setting.

* Casual position paying Level 4 Pay Point 1 of the Barkly Regional Council Enterprise Agreement 2024.
* Hourly Rate of $42.96 (including 25% casual loading).
* 12% Superannuation.
