About the Practice:
This practice has availability for a motivated General Practitioner who is eager to join a patient-centered, ethics-driven team with a passion for comprehensive and long-term care for the community.
The practice is part of a Community Health service that provides a large gamut of programs including ACAS, Counseling, AOD, Headspace, Community Inclusion, Allied Health, Child and Family, Community Recovery, Family Safety, Healthy Aging, LGBTIQA+ Community and Mental Health and Wellbeing to name a few.
Practice opening hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm
About the Role:
This is a role that will offer you the best Rural lifestyle and the opportunity to work with a diverse range of regionally relevant services supporting multicultural and refugee health, sexual health including HIV clinics, gender services, chronic disease management, and more.
A typical day would include a mix of standard consultations, chronic disease management, minor procedures (including IUDs) opportunities to support Sexual Health and Multicultural/Refugee clinics if this is an area of special interest. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Conduct comprehensive assessments, consultations, treatment plans and examinations for patients of all ages.
2. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with best practice standards and regulatory requirements.
