Their approach blends luxury, sustainability, and personalized design, catering to both individual homeowners and property investors.As a leading name in custom residential construction, our client is now seeking a skilled and qualified Carpenter to welcome into their busy team and bring architectural visions to life with precision and pride.Tenure - The role is full time, and ongoing.Salary – A great salary is offered in the range of $75k to $80k plus superannuation per annum.Location – Based in Melton West, VIC but the firm services western, eastern, and northern suburbs of Greater Melbourne, along with Ballarat and Geelong.Responsibilities of the job include:Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation procedures.Be involved in understanding and selecting the materials needed for individual assignments.Cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to construct frameworks, walls, roofs, floors, and other structural components.Inspect structures and materials for quality assurance, ensuring they meet building codes and specifications.Work closely with fellow carpenters and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of projects.Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment, while adhering to occupational health and safety standards.What you will need to be considered:Qualified to Cert IV or agreed equivalent and all necessary cards.At least 1 or more years' experience since you gained your qualifications.Possess a clear Driver's License.Solid knowledge of the use of materials and construction methods.Eye for detail.Pride in your work.Solid OH&S awareness and be physically fit.Happy team member keen to get the job done, on time, to high standards.Solid industry references.Keen to be employed on a full-time salaried basis (so this role is not suitable for sub-contractors)You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.ApplicationsPlease respond to the recruiters using the facilities on this site, and ensure you attach your updated CV.Kogan People Solutions are grateful for all applications, but kindly note that they will only respond to shortlisted applicants.Kogan People Solutions – recruitment excellence
