Protex Water is a leading Australian manufacturer of packaged water and wastewater treatment systems. As part of our continued growth, we’re seeking a Process Engineer to join our dynamic team and help design, optimise, and support the performance of our treatment systems across a range of exciting projects.In this role, you'll play a key part in developing efficient, reliable, and sustainable process designs. You'll work closely with project managers, mechanical designers, and site teams to ensure our systems perform to the highest standards from concept to commissioning.Your responsibilities will include:Designing and optimising water and wastewater treatment processesPreparing P&IDs, process calculations, and control philosophiesSupporting equipment selection and system layoutAssisting with commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance testingEnsuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standardsWhat we’re looking for:Degree-qualified in Chemical or Environmental Engineering (or similar)Experience in water/wastewater treatment processes (SBR, MBR, DAF, UF, RO, etc.)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with industry standards and design toolsA collaborative mindset and a keen eye for detailAt Protex Water, you'll be part of a team that values innovation, teamwork, and engineering excellence.
