We are looking for a motivated Junior–Intermediate Structural Drafter to join our Transmission Line Engineering team in Adelaide and support our growing portfolio of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their drafting experience and further develop their career in a supportive, high‐performing team.
What You'll Bring
* 1–4 years of structural drafting experience
* Exposure to structural steel, reinforced concrete, or civil works drafting
* A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
* Experience using MicroStation (essential)
* Familiarity with AutoCad (advantageous but not required)
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Produce high quality civil, structural and electrical drawings to support transmission lines projects.
* Prepare transmission line layouts.
* Following and managing multiple stakeholder drafting management systems.
* Support continuous improvement of drafting systems, standards and tools.
* Support engineers in translating design concepts into accurate technical drawings
* Ensure drawings are accurate and aligned with project requirements and industry standards
* Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables
* Maintain drawing documentation in accordance with company and client standards
* Participate in quality checks and revisions of drawings as required
* Continuously develop technical skills and stay up to date with drafting best practices
