About the Role
Tefol is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Boilermaker to join our team. This role is primarily based on client sites across the Newcastle region, with workshop duties performed at our Tefol facility during periods of low site activity.
As a front-line company representative, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality workmanship while maintaining strong client relationships and upholding company standards.
Key Duties
* Carry out site-based boilermaking and maintenance tasks
* Perform workshop duties at Tefol as required
* MIG, Stick, and TIG welding to a high standard
* Preparation and painting of components and equipment
* Assist with mechanical fitting tasks when required
* Maintain accurate and detailed daily records of work performed
* Liaise directly with clients in a professional manner
* Communicate customer requirements and feedback to your direct supervisor
* Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle to the highest standard
* Adhere to all site safety requirements and company procedures
About you
* Appropriate trade qualifications in Boilermaking (Statement of Attainment)
* Experience in MIG, TIG and Stick
* A demonstrated high level welding ability in heavy/light steel fabrication and repairs
* Proven capacity to problem solve with excellent time management skills
* Ability to read and interpret drawings
* Strong commitment to safe work practices and pride in workmanship
* Strong commitment to timekeeping and reliability
* Ability to professionally engage with client and other stakeholders
Highly regarded but not essential
