We are partnering with a leading financial services company to engage an experienced Business Analyst to support a critical legal agreements and harmonisation initiative. This role sits within a highly regulated environment and will work closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure legal and regulatory obligations are accurately translated into business and system outcomes. This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical capability, excellent documentation skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders across multiple functions. Key Responsibilities Analyse existing legal agreements and identify gaps, inconsistencies and areas requiring harmonisation Interpret legal and regulatory requirements and translate them into clear business and functional requirements Work closely with Legal, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure alignment and accuracy Document current and future state processes, controls and impacts to systems and member communications Support impact assessments across operations, technology and member outcomes Produce high-quality artefacts including business requirements, process maps and control documentation Contribute to delivery planning and support implementation where required About You Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally insurance, superannuation or banking Strong exposure to regulatory change, legal interpretation or compliance-driven initiatives Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Legal and Risk stakeholders Excellent documentation, process mapping and requirements definition skills Comfortable operating in complex, highly regulated environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders This is a 6-month contract commencing in January, offering the opportunity to work on a high-impact regulatory initiative within a collaborative, enterprise-scale environment, with a competitive day rate on offer.
