**About the role**:
An opportunity currently exists for an **Employee Relations Advisor** to join our passionate P&C team. Reporting to the VIC People & Culture Business Partner, you will work closely with Line Managers and Team Members in delivering pragmatic and commercially sound HR advice and support to our retail and trade brands, across VIC, TAS, SA and WA.
Supported by a talented, diverse and geographically dispersed P&C team, you will be working in a supportive environment, where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a best practice operation; you will have a high level of autonomy; you will never be alone should you require support or advice, and we have plentiful flexible work options available to you.

**As our new Employee Relations Advisor, your focus will be**:
- ER support, including workplace investigations and facilitating complex conversations
- Coach and support People Managers in how to best lead, inspire and engage their teams
- Guide key change initiatives as our business continues to transform and grow
- Provide advice, support and coaching on performance and employee relations, workplace investigations, recruitment, talent & succession planning, and training/development initiatives across the Zone
- Drive and support key people engagement initiatives, at a local level
- Support safety programs and initiatives, as well as assisting the OH&S team with people matters across the Zone
- Positive contributor to all P&C deliverables, and an engaged member of the wider P&C team
**To be successful you will have**:
- A customer centric, people-focus, and a passion for delivering commercial HR solutions
- Commitment to building strong working relationships and engaging with all levels of the business
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent coaching, communication, planning and influencing skills
- Self-motivation and initiative
- HR generalist experience in multi-site, dual-format and/or retail operations (ideal)
- Well-developed knowledge of current employment legislation and HR practices, particularly ER related
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferred
