We are seeking an experienced General Manager Operations to lead large‑scale operational services and drive performance, safety and service excellence across the business. As General Manager Operations, you will provide leadership across CDC NSW’s operations, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and on time. You will be accountable for operational performance, lead operational teams, drive continuous improvement, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver outcomes aligned with contractual, regulatory and customer expectations. Key responsibilities include: Oversee day‑to‑day operations, including weekly planning adjustments and management of planned and unplanned service disruptions Ensure the safe, reliable and timely delivery of services, meeting contractual and customer requirements Implement and monitor operational policies, procedures and systems, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance Investigate operational incidents, analyse performance data and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence Manage operational reporting, performance measures and key KPIs Build and maintain effective relationships with Transport for NSW and other key internal and external stakeholders Lead workforce planning for drivers and operational teams, identifying and mitigating operational and safety risks Manage functional budgets, ensuring cost control and achievement of financial targets Lead by example to create a strong safety, performance and accountability culture across the business About you You are a proven operational leader with a strong track record in managing complex, customer‑facing operations. You are decisive, resilient and comfortable navigating competing priorities in a highly regulated environment.
