About the opportunity

Step into a role where your expertise truly shapes patient care. As a Training Officer within Patient Transport Services (PTS), you'll play a pivotal part in developing the skills, confidence and professionalism of our Patient Transport Officers. You'll design and deliver meaningful, high‑impact education programs that not only elevate patient outcomes, but also strengthen team safety, performance and cohesion across a diverse, geographically dispersed workforce. This is your opportunity to bring innovation, passion and practical insight to an essential frontline service—empowering staff to perform at their best in every patient interaction.

In this role, you'll lead with curiosity, collaboration and initiative. From identifying training needs and designing nationally recognised programs, to mentoring staff, embedding best‑practice principles and driving quality improvement initiatives, you'll be a trusted expert and a champion for continuous learning. You'll build strong partnerships with internal teams, RTOs and local health districts to ensure our training remains current, compliant and impactful. If you thrive on variety, enjoy tailoring education to mixed skill levels and take pride in uplifting others, this role offers the perfect blend of challenge, purpose and professional reward.
