About the role:
The
Technical Project Manager
is responsible for leading the technical aspects of the HRIS implementation project. This position will work closely with the Senior Manager HR Projects, AMES IT Team, HRIS Implementation Partner and HRIS
Vendor to manage all technical components of the project planning, execution, integration, data migration, and deployment of the application within a cybersecurity / risk conscious environment.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
* Minimum of Degree in Computer Science / IT or related field; AND
* Minimum of 5 years' experience providing in-house technical support on large-scale HRIS or SaaS implementations, preferably Dayforce or similar platforms, and some experience with Power BI or similar analytics platforms
* Demonstrated ability to provide technical support in system integration, data migration and enterprise IT environments, and support testing and deployment of systems, including during new implementations and software upgrades
* Excellent project management skills, including developing project plans, managing deliverables, and controlling project scope
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation, to clearly define requirements, to draw out necessary information and to present technical information in a way that can be
understood by non-technical people
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of key stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, including the ability to negotiate and to manage expectations and support successful system integrations and system implementations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse project information and develop high-level reports for Executives and Project Steering Committees
- Good time management and organisational skills with demonstrated ability to support system implementation projects within timelines
- Demonstrated ability to lead project governance, risk, and change management on system implementation projects
- Good understanding of ISO 27001 standards for information security management
- Sound knowledge of Power BI or similar analytics platforms
- Sound knowledge of Active Directory/Azure AD, SSO, and API-based integrations
- Demonstrated ability to train others and develop user-friendly instruction material and user guides for new system implementations
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical support on large-scale HRIS or SaaS implementations, preferably Dayforce or similar platforms
