Day-to-day you'll work closely with our Principal AI Engineer, AI Product Manager, Client Experience Specialist, and founding team. If you want to do the most interesting design work of your career, this is where to do it.
Role Description
We're looking for a designer who goes deep with real users, finds the friction nobody else sees, and turns that into products that make complex things feel simple. This is a foundational hire — you'll shape the design practice from the ground up.
What You'll Do
* Run discovery with real users across the Rethink Group ecosystem — using AI to accelerate research synthesis and insight extraction
* Map end-to-end service flows, surface unmet needs, and move from insight to testable design fast
* Work closely with the engineering team and iterate design through to build
* Own the design brief before engineering touches it — define what "done" looks like from a user perspective
* Build design documentation engineers can actually use — annotated specs, component logic, interaction patterns
* Maintain and evolve the design system as the product grows
What We're Looking For
* Design work that shipped to real users, beyond concept drawings
* Evidence of user research in practice — interviews, synthesis, insight-to-design translation
* Strong prototyping and design skills from scratch to production-ready
* Proficiency with tools such as Figma
* AI-native design workflow — show us how AI is part of how you work today
* Commercial instinct and the ability to communicate across stakeholders
