Sales Engineering Role Overview

As a Sales Engineer, you will be the technical ambassador for our product, responsible for driving sales growth through your deep understanding of customer needs and our solution. You will work closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategic deals, leveraging your technical expertise to build strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build Technical Sales Flow: Determine key performance indicators (KPIs) and create a scalable sales process that drives revenue growth.
* Technical Point of Contact: Serve as the primary customer liaison throughout the sales process, providing expert guidance on product capabilities and implementation strategies.
* Discussion and Demo Leader: Develop compelling presentations and demos that showcase the value proposition of our product, highlighting its ability to address customer pain points.
* Proof-of-Concept Manager: Collaborate with customers to design and implement end-to-end proof-of-concepts, managing all aspects of the project from start to finish.
* Strategic Deal Planning: Partner with the Sales Director to plan and execute strategic deals, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

Requirements:

* 3+ Years of Experience: Proven track record as a technical customer-facing Sales Engineer, with experience in pre-sale, post-sale engineering, and R&D.
* Strong Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, with a passion for sales and technology.
* Startup Orientation: Self-motivated and passionate about working in a dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
* Location Flexibility: Open to relocation or flexible work arrangements, with a preference for Boston but willing to consider other locations.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Cloud-Based SaaS Security Products: Experience working with cloud-based SaaS security products, with a deep understanding of their features and benefits.
