National Business Support Manager (Contract)

Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced senior leader to provide strategic and operational leadership to the wider business on a full time 15 month fixed-term contract. The National Business Support Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the business at a national level, ensuring business success and commitment to our company values.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, direct and coordinate operations of the organization in collaboration with the Managing Director.
* Oversee departmental expenditures and budgets.
* Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
* Set policies and processes for continuous improvement across the business.
* Collaboratively make decisions around business strategy and direction.
* Provide solutions to issues across finances, human relations, loss of business, new business opportunities.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of employees across the organization.
* Ensure statutory obligations regarding Industrial relations, employee relations, and sustainability, including WEGA and APCO requirements.
* Implement initiatives to improve attraction, engagement, and retention of employees.
* Monitor ROI and performance of campaigns and promotions, new range releases and any new marketing and communicate to Senior Management, Sales, and Customer Service teams.
* Communicate and collect feedback from sales team on a regular basis.
* Grow brand and product awareness amongst Architectural market.
* Manage, drive, and inspire team to grow and further develop their skills and performance.
* Assist with additional responsibilities as required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred, especially in Commerce, Business and/or Management.
* Minimum of 5+ years experience in a General Manager or National Business Manager role is required.
* Good organisational and communication skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to manage projects efficiently and handle multiple stakeholders and tasks.
* Experience managing multiple teams and departments within a business.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience in dispute resolution and complaint handling.
* Maintain a strong degree of confidentiality.
* Accountable and responsible.
