About The Role
As a Support Worker - catering, your role will be to assist a diverse range of Aged Care Residents by assisting the cook meet their nutritional needs.
* Located in Waratah, close to train and bus transport.
* Newcastle is a thriving town with some of the worlds best beaches close by.
* St Martin De Porres provides care and services to 41 Older people
Key Responsibilities
* General kitchen hand duties apply
* Support the cook with meal service
* ensuring a clean environment and work space
About You
* Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
* Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
* Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
* Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
* A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
