Position Overview
The ECommerce Manager will lead the online sales strategy and drive revenue growth across global markets with a focus on US and ANZ. With the new Solbari websites now launched, this role will focus on conversion optimisation, customer journey enhancement, and maximising revenue opportunities. You'll manage our ECommerce Specialist and work cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the ecommerce strategy to drive online revenue growth and achieve sales targets across all markets
* Own conversion rate optimisation across the site, improving usability, performance, customer journey and checkout experience
* Define KPIs and monitor, analyse and report on ecommerce performance, providing regular insights to the leadership team
* Lead ongoing website optimisation initiatives, including A B testing of site elements, landing pages and promotional mechanics
* Oversee the online merchandising strategy, including product presentation, categorisation, SEO aligned content and promotional placement
* Partner with Trade Merchandising and Marketing teams to plan and execute the promotional calendar
* Develop and optimise discount strategies, bundling initiatives and promotional campaigns to maximise ROI
* Identify new revenue opportunities through product recommendations, upselling and cross selling
* Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to inform ecommerce and promotional strategy
* Ensure a seamless, user friendly shopping experience across all devices and markets
* Analyse customer behaviour and feedback to identify pain points and implement improvements
* Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve recurring issues and enhance the customer experience
* Manage and mentor the Ecommerce Specialist, supporting capability development and performance
* Work cross functionally to deliver integrated campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives
* Brief and manage external agencies and technology partners as required
* Foster a culture of testing, learning and continuous optimisation
* Provide strategic direction for email and CRM to support ecommerce objectives and the promotional calendar
* Review the performance of automated email campaigns and recommend ongoing optimisations
Skills & Experience Required
* 4-6 years of ecommerce experience, preferably with global DTC apparel or lifestyle brands
* Proven track record of driving online revenue growth and improving conversion rates
* Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
* Experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify/Shopify Plus preferred) and Google Analytics
* Understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion optimisation best practices
* Experience managing direct reports and working with cross-functional teams
* Excellent project management and organisational skills
* Strong commercial acumen with focus on revenue and profitability
* Solid understanding of CRM principles, CEO fundamentals and digital marketing
