We have an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team based on the Gold Coast at Burleigh Heads. We're looking for someone who is not just doing 101 AP processing, we want you to challenge the status quo and help us improve!
What you’ll do
Onsite role reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader in a small AP team to process invoices from across our sites around the country.
Apply energy and passion for AP and process improvement to ideate, design and implement better ways to manage process controls like authorisations and supplier behaviour.
Learn about the business and collaborate with the finance team to support more accurate coding and reporting.
Provide exceptional customer service to our suppliers and internal customers.
Pitch in as part of a small team to provide month end support.
AP basics: coding and entry of supplier invoices accurately and timely.
Verify that invoices are authorised in accordance with process controls; review and respond to emails from internal teams and suppliers; reconcile supplier accounts, manage invoice discrepancies, returns and credit notes.
About you
You’ve got energy and passion for AP and enjoy the work.
You have excellent computer literacy and are comfortable with MS Excel.
You take ownership of your work and can work autonomously.
You’re a outstanding communicator and a team player with a can-do attitude.
