Welcome to Eden Academy Parafield Gardens — a child-safe, nurturing community where you'll create meaningful impact every day.
We're looking for a talented chef to run our commercial kitchen and fuel 108 little learners with nutritious, balanced meals.
This contract runs for 6 months, with hours between 7am-6pm.
What You'll Do
Create fresh, healthy daily meals aligned to nutrition guidelines
Confidently cater for allergies and diverse dietary needs
Keep our kitchen spotless, safe and well-organised
Champion healthy eating with children and educators
Build warm, genuine connections with our families
What You'll Bring
Cert III in Commercial Cookery or Hospitality
Food Safety Certificate + WWCC
Strong knowledge of dietary requirements
Experience in menu planning, bulk prep, ordering, stock and budget control
Australian working rights + Monday-Friday availability
Professional presentation and proven commercial kitchen experience
