A well-established managed services provider based in a south-eastern suburb of Melbourne is looking for a driven BDM to focus purely on new business generation and pipeline growth.
This is a true hunter role, ideal for someone who enjoys outbound sales, opening doors, and creating opportunities rather than managing existing accounts.

* $80K – $130K base + superannuation + commission (DOE)
* Full-time, office-based role with client meetings across Victoria

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As a BDM, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building a strong sales pipeline through proactive outbound activity.
You will:
* Identify and target new business opportunities across SMB and mid-market organisations
* Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
* Engage with key decision-makers including business owners and IT stakeholders
* Qualify leads and identify potential opportunities for the wider sales team
* Book meetings and create new business opportunities
* Maintain and manage pipeline activity within CRM systems
* Consistently follow up and nurture prospects
* Collaborate with internal sales and account managers to convert opportunities
* Contribute to refining outreach strategies and target market approach
* Experience in sales, lead generation, SDR, or business development roles
* Proven ability or strong interest in outbound sales and new business generation
* Confidence engaging prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Highly organised with strong follow-up discipline
* Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
* Experience working toward KPIs and sales targets
* Australian or NZ Citizen or PR holder
* Experience within IT, managed services, or technology sales environments
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
* Experience selling into SMB, corporate, or B2B environments
* Existing network or exposure to the Victorian market
