We are looking for a passionate IT Service Desk Specialist to join our Australia Hub. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, helping to support the internal IT infrastructure and maintain high-quality service standards.
As an IT Service Desk Specialist at MIGSO-PCUBED, you will provide essential support for our day-to-day IT operations, from managing level 2 support to assisting in the deployment of IT projects. You will work closely with both local and international teams to ensure smooth IT operations and continuous improvement of internal processes and systems.
What You'll Do
As an IT Service Desk Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
* Level 2 Support Management: Provide technical support to staff through the service desk, handling software and hardware issues, and escalating problems as necessary.
* Incident Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for IT incidents, ensuring quick response and resolution.
* Hardware and Software Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain company hardware and software systems to ensure all systems are functioning effectively.
* User Account Management: Create, maintain, and close user accounts within systems like Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
* Licensing Management: Oversee and manage licensing for Microsoft 365 and other business applications.
* Network Connectivity: Ensure proper network connectivity and troubleshoot network-related issues for both local and remote teams.
* Collaboration with Global IT Teams: Work closely with other IT teams across the globe to coordinate IT support services and manage larger IT transformation projects.
* Policy Deployment and Improvement: Support the development and improvement of quality, security policies, and processes across the organization. Take necessary actions to deploy and upkeep the group certifications (ISO 9001 / ISO 27001)
* IT Transformation Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and deploying ongoing IT transformation projects to ensure alignment with business goals.
Who are you?
Your Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Windows operating systems, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365.
* Experience with IT Support: Demonstrated experience in managing IT service desk operations and resolving technical issues promptly.
* IT Management Tools: Familiarity with information ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
* Project Management: Experience in managing IT-related projects and transformation activities.
* Qualifications: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in IT or a related field.
* Proactive and Solution-Oriented: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to taking initiatives.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in a multi-stakeholder environment.
