Are you a skilled building services or facilities professional with a relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience, looking to make a meaningful impact in a critical healthcare environment?
The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure is seeking an Engineering Building Services Manager to deliver and manage building services, repairs and maintenance at Gove District Hospital or Alice Springs Hospital.

This is a key technical leadership role supporting the safe, compliant and continuous operation of major hospital facilities—where your expertise directly contributes to patient care and hospital performance.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and manage building services repairs and maintenance contracts across hospital facilities
* Oversee contractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to required standards
* Plan, develop and implement policies and procedures to meet Engineering Services requirements
* Ensure compliance with the NT Building Act, Construction Code, Australian Standards and WHS requirements
* Provide high-level technical advice on complex building systems and operational issues
* Participate in the Engineering Services on-call roster to support after-hours operations
* Foster a positive and professional workplace culture through strong leadership and collaboration
About You:
* Relevant trade, engineering or technical qualification, or equivalent experience in building services or facilities management
* Demonstrated experience managing maintenance contracts and supervising contractors
* Strong working knowledge of building legislation, codes and Australian Standards
* Experience maintaining and operating complex building systems in large or critical facilities
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse professional groups
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities, risk, change and deadlines
* Well-developed IT skills, including maintenance systems, spreadsheets and project tools
* Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment
* Experience using Computer Managed Maintenance Systems (CMMS)
