Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and managing cloud infrastructures using Azure and M365 services.
You will be responsible for managing and administering Azure and/or AWS cloud environments, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, cost optimisation, and security.
In this role, you will also design, implement, configure and document cloud solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tool sets and practices.
Furthermore, you will support the implementation, migration, integration, and management of cloud SaaS applications.
As a Cloud Engineer, you will act as the product owner and make decisions for assigned Cloud Services and Products.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructures using Azure and M365 services
* Manage and administer Azure and/or AWS cloud environments
* Design, implement, and document cloud solutions using IaC and CI/CD tools
* Support the implementation, migration, integration, and management of cloud SaaS applications
* Act as the product owner and make decisions for assigned Cloud Services and Products
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Cloud Platforms
* Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code, using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent tools
* Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity
* Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash)
* Working knowledge and understanding for many of the following technologies
o Microsoft Technology Stack;
o Microsoft and M365 technology stacks (i.e. Server; SharePoint, Exchange)
o Microsoft Intune and endpoint deployment and management methodology; and backup disaster recovery technologies and methodologies
* Strong understanding of cyber and information security principles and how these are applied in an operational environment
* Proficiency in infrastructure monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
