Overview
Our client, a privately owned leader in Food Processing, has presented a career-enhancing opening for a Full-Time Day-Shift Maintenance Electrician at their Broadmeadows, VIC facility. Due to industry demand, the business is expanding among their 1500+ employees during this growth phase.
Hourly Rate: $52-57 + super
Shift: 5/6am - 1.30/2.30pm, Monday to Friday
Overtime: Available for those interested - x2.0
Workday: 8-hour shifts, 38-hour week
Key Responsibilities
* Key focus on automation-related project work
* Organise and maintain the day-to-day running of the site's automated production lines, associated plant/equipment and fixed property
* Keep equipment performing to its required production rate, exceeding these rates where possible
* Maintain a preventative maintenance program in relation to the production line to ensure there are minimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns
Ideal Candidate
* Full A-grade electrical license and a good understanding of fault finding and repair of high-speed production machinery, such as conveyors, robots, packaging
* Experience in FMCG environment with understanding of good manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements
* Motor control, PLC (troubleshooting/fault-finding) and VSD experience
* Very positive attitude, motivated by continuous learning and capable of communicating positive energy to the team
