About the role
Daikin Australia is currently sourcing an Inventory Controller on a 12-month FT fixed term contract to be based in our office in Chipping Norton, NSW. This role will ensure the company minimizes stock holding and to manage re-ordering / re-stocking at optimal times.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role will maintain supply to the inventory as required to support production and liaise with approved vendors to arrange accurate and timely deliveries of raw materials and stock components.
Qualifications
* Previous experience with SAP system or similar database will be preferred.
* Previous experience working within a manufacturing setting will be preferred
* Strong experience working with Advanced Excel.
* Ability to perform with high degree of accuracy and close attention to detail
* Strong initiative to take ownership of issues to ensure positive outcomes.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
