About the role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Coordinator / Sector Lead – ICT to join Standards Australia. This is an entry‐level to junior opportunity, ideal for someone with exposure to the ICT sector who is looking to build a career in project coordination, stakeholder engagement and standards development. Reporting to the Senior Manager – ICT, this role supports the delivery of standards development activities across an assigned portfolio.
What you'll do
* Support the delivery of national and international standards development projects within agreed scope and timeframes.
* Assist in planning and tracking project milestones, risks and issues using enterprise project systems.
* Prepare agendas, minutes and documentation for committee meetings.
* Coordinate meeting logistics and support structured, inclusive committee discussions.
* Support consultation processes, ballot activities and publication workflows.
* Maintain accurate stakeholder and committee records in CRM systems.
* Assist stakeholders with project proposals and supporting documentation.
* Support Australian participation in international standards development activities.
* Ensure standards development policies and procedures are applied consistently.
* Respond to stakeholder enquiries and support committee participation.
About you
You are a highly organised professional who enjoys coordinating projects and working collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will bring:
* Experience in project coordination, administration, stakeholder support or similar roles.
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within deadlines.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience facilitating meetings or supporting committees or working groups.
* Ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholder groups.
* Strong problem‐solving skills and initiative.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
