Overview
We’re currently seeking an experienced, hands on hospitality management couple to lead operations at a bustling, Iconic remote venue in Outback South Australia. This multi-faceted operation offers onsite motel accommodation, spacious caravan park, fuel, food and retail outlet and caters to visitors travelling through the region.
This is a hands on role working across all aspects of the business whilst leading and mentoring a team of up to 15 onsite employees. Onsite management accommodation is provided. Package Includes:
- $170,000 combined salary
- FREE accommodation & meals
- 8 weeks of annual leave
- Annual bonus structure
Responsibilities
- As hands-on leaders, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the entire property, including: Full property management: Bar, accommodation, fuel, retail, restaurant, caravan park & grounds
- Leading, recruiting, training, and mentoring a team of up to 15 onsite staff
- Handling cash, banking, rostering, invoices & timesheets
- Adhering to budgets, reporting to off-site company directors
- Monitoring fuel management, power generation, and water desalination oversight
- Accommodation bookings and room allocations
- Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing and safety procedures
- Liaising with local authorities and suppliers
This is a diverse and rewarding role for a couple ready to take ownership, build community, and thrive in remote management.
Candidate Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of hospitality operations
- Strong communication & leadership skills
- A hands-on, solution-focused attitude
- Manual Driver’s License
- SA Liquor Badge (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check
- Commitment for 1–2 years minimum
