* $90-120/hour | 12-month contract + extensions
For this contract role you must be an Australian Citizen to be considered.
This government department is seeking an Automation Tester to come on board. As a department they embrace the latest Cloud technology to deliver high quality citizen-facing digital services using Salesforce Platform as a Service (PaaS). This would be an excellent role for a skilled automation Tester who is a competent programmer who is familiar with Tosca, API integration and Salesforce. Excellent communications skills, a keen eye for detail and a team player would be the right attributes.
Responsibilities
* Review of software requirements
* Preparation of test cases
* Develop automation testing scripts
* Execution of tests
* Reporting of defects
* Preparation of test reports
Essential Skills
* Experience with test planning, execution, management, and reporting
* Familiarity with HTML and at least one (C#, Java, JavaScript, Groovy) programming language
* Experience in analysing requirements, developing, and designing test scripts
* Strong working experience with TOSCA and Integration testing tools (e.g., SOAPUI, POSTMAN)
* Understanding and experience with Agile and DevOps practices and methodologies
* Having hands on experience on utilising tools like JIRA, Zephyr and confluence for execution and testing
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable skills:
* Salesforce application testing experience (e.g., knowledge of SOQL and Data Loader)
