Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Paediatric Speech Pathologist to provide high-quality speech pathology services to children aged 0-12 years, including assessment, intervention and parent training. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities and the capacity to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver comprehensive speech pathology services to children with complex communication needs, including autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy and global developmental delay.
* Contribute to the development of evidence-based practices and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
* Work collaboratively with other professionals to design and implement comprehensive support plans for children and families.
* Manage own caseload, meeting organisational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
* Minimum 4 years' experience in managing, supervising and leading staff in a paediatric setting.
* Specialist knowledge and demonstrated experience in assessing and treating children with complex communication needs.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
