About this work area
As an Interior Design Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead & Inspire: Guide and motivate your Interior Design team to use their skills in room settings and sales areas to create an exceptional shopping experience.
- Showroom Planning & Customer Needs: Create a clear plan based on the showroom matrix and lead your team to maintain a visually appealing balance tailored to the local market.
- Long-Term Priorities: Present long-term home furnishing priorities effectively in-store, working closely with the Visual Merchandise Manager to implement them throughout the store.
- Inspire Through Design: Work with your team to create a store that's not only visually strong but also inspiring to customers.
- Reflecting the IKEA identity and creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support and co-worker areas.
- Recruiting, developing, and leading your team by encouraging open, constructive, and honest, two-way feedback.
As an Interior Design Manager you have:
- Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and REVIT.
- Is commercially minded, energetic, and unafraid to think outside the box.
- Is hands-on and quick to implement effective solutions.
- Can inspire, motivate, and persuade with knowledge and insight.
- Has a decisive, solution-oriented approach and keeps a clear overview.
- Recognizes and leverages team talents to achieve the best results.
- Excels in planning, organizing, and communicating.
