Today we're in more than 100 countries around the world. We have a brilliant prospect for a Stock Controller to join the Supply Chain team at our Head Office in Kilsyth. This position would suit someone who loves a challenge and has exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills, develop your knowledge and gain exposure to many areas of ARB operations.
**Reporting to the National Stock Control Supervisor, the VIC/TAS Stock Controllers' main responsibilities will include**:
- Raise transfer requisitions on behalf of ARB Stores to help fulfil customer orders.
- Assist in the management of stock corrections within the current system.
- Assist in the management of outgoing transfers that require finalisation by state DC stock controllers.
- Analysing reports on stock inventory to maintain sufficient stock for VIC/TAS branches and DC warehouses.
- Implementation of measures to reduce dead stock holdings in VIC/TAS in coordination with the Supply Chain team at ARB Head Office.
- Placement of backorders on Main Warehouse for sufficient stock distribution.
**The ideal applicant will possess the following skills and attributes**:
- Have an understanding of inventory control/management systems and ERP.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer-focused working environment.
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive, whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Oracle (JD Edwards Enterprise One) and OBIEE experience preferred.
