Support Professional Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced support professional in Coffs Harbour. Their ideal team members should be proactive, collaborative, empathetic and have strong cultural competence with experience implementing Behaviour Support Plans.
This position is suited to individuals seeking 30 hours of support per week, who are experienced in assisting people with behavioural support needs.
The participant requires team members available to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleepovers. A structured approach and routine are essential, requiring reliable team members who maintain professional boundaries while building rapport.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
PREFERRED Certificate 3 in Individual Support, with traineeships available for those without an existing qualification.
PREFERRED experience supporting people with disabilities or mental health concerns.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
* Support participants with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medical appointments, community access and personal/domestic tasks.
* Implement Behaviour Support plans, following protocols and collecting data.
* Work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnight shifts and weekend work.
* Establish a roster promoting a great work-life balance with on-the-job training and opportunities to gain qualifications.
* Dedicated training program, including Crisis Prevention Training and a Wellness Program.
* Leased vehicles available for core team members and above-award remuneration.
