Job Description
This role focuses on ensuring the construction of infrastructure projects meets specifications, adheres to technical standards and legislation. You will be responsible for monitoring progress against schedule, budget and resources, as well as assessing contractor claims.
Key Responsibilities
* Project assurance and monitoring: Ensure that works are completed according to project scope, specifications, and safety requirements.
* Construction, safety, and risk management: Provide expert advice on construction practices, safe work execution, and innovative solutions to complex site and traffic management issues.
* Stakeholder and community engagement: Engage with key stakeholders and the community to support project delivery, maintain transparency, and manage issues effectively throughout the construction lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in civil construction is mandatory.
* A relevant certification in civil construction such as Certificate IV in Civil Construction Supervision is desirable.
