Our client is seeking a full time Driver/Warehouse Storeperson, who is highly organised and self-motivated to join our expanding transport and warehouse team.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Warehouse work within a friendly and cohesive team
- Installation, delivery and removal of furniture items
- Driving medium rigid vehicles
- Experience in the furniture removal industry
- Packing, unpacking and assembly of furniture and related items off site, as well as on site
- Undertaking manual handing tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Accurate record keeping of inbound and outbound goods
- High level customer focus and liaising
- Effective problem solving skills
- Metropolitan and regional travel involved
To be successful in this role, you will require the following;
- Hold a medium rigid drivers licence
- Be physically fit and highly motivated
- Sound organisational skills
- An ability to work unsupervised
- Willing to work within, and be part of a friendly and productive team
- Clean driving record
There will be regular overtime and occasional regional work where over night stays may be required.
