About The Role
The Senior Full Stack Engineer role sits at the intersection of product, development and platform. As a full‐stack software engineer at Martian Logic, your core accountability is collaborating with your team on the design and development of new solutions leveraging existing frameworks and platform components, to ensure a viable approach is in place to meet our delivery and quality objectives. You will be an active contributor and expected to be a key player in the delivery of initiatives as well as contributing to engineering improvement strategies and approaches in collaboration with others on the engineering team. You understand that the art of software development and systems design is constantly evolving and that it is key to stay abreast of developments in the industry to remain relevant.

You understand that there's no such thing as perfect and know how to deal with this in practice. You have a pragmatic approach to solutions, believe in small incremental changes, and ship daily to production.

About Your Experience

Key Skill And Experience
* 5+ years of experience designing, developing and debugging complex software systems within a microservices, event‐driven architecture.
* Implemented containerised distributed systems.
* Constantly striving to solve problems effectively and always looking for opportunities to improve.
* Can communicate complex concepts in a clear, precise way.
* Experience in Javascript/React, Core Java/EE and related frameworks.
* Experience with Spring Boot, REST, SOAP, Tomcat, Wildfly.
* Experience in SQL database design and optimisation.
* Experience with APIs and microservices within the AWS ecosystem.
* Skills in building and maintaining well‐structured, testable code.
* Skills in modern software development techniques, design and architectural patterns and best coding practices.
* Understanding of how to build robust, performant, scalable web applications and APIs.
* Understanding of automated testing strategies and when best to apply them in the delivery lifecycle.
* Understanding of DevOps principles, containerisation and infrastructure as code.
* Always into continuous improvement and learning.
