About the Position
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Educator Support to join our team. As a key member of our educational support team, you will be responsible for assisting teachers with instructional activities, providing individualized student support, developing and maintaining resources, preparing materials and contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment that enables all students to achieve their potential.
The successful applicant will have experience working with children in educational, care or community settings, an understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning strategies, knowledge of inclusive education practices and supporting diverse learners. They will also possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers and parents, literacy and numeracy skills to support student learning, organisational skills and computer literacy to prepare materials and maintain classroom resources.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting teachers with instructional activities and planning
* Providing individualized student support and assistance as needed
* Developing and maintaining resources and materials to support teaching and learning
* Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and achievement
The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, communicate effectively with students, teachers and parents, and demonstrate a genuine interest in student wellbeing and academic success. They will also be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
* A Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent qualification
* Experience working with children in educational, care or community settings
* An understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning strategies
* Knowledge of inclusive education practices and supporting diverse learners
* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers and parents
* Literacy and numeracy skills to support student learning
* Organisational skills and computer literacy to prepare materials and maintain classroom resources
* A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
