An exciting position for experienced compassionate and professional Support Workers looking to be part of a dedicated team of Support Staff and Nurses.
CiMaS Home Nursing Service is an established small company delivering home nursing and support to Home Care Package and NDIS clients in Ipswich and surrounding districts. We are dedicated to providing meaningful care to our clients, allowing them to live their best lives.
The Role
We are seeking the services of an experienced and proactive Support Worker to work in our close-knit team.
We require support workers to provide or be willing to learn to support clients with complex needs which may include: caring for catheters, stomas, palliative care and enteral nutrition.
The position will be responsible for personal hygiene, continence care, support for mobility and transfers, community access, respite and some domestic duties.
Remuneration
Award: SCHADS Award - Home Care
Position: Casual - working from a flexible roster (Mon-Sun) starting 6.00 a.m. which will include day and evening shifts. Permanent Part Time possibility after probation for the right candidate.
Location: CiMaS Office Booval, Ipswich with travel to clients within Ipswich and surrounding district.
Qualifications & experience
* Experience in support work
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Current NDIS Screening Card (or willing to obtain one)
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Current Driver's Licence
* Reliable Vehicle
