Casual Educators – Harbour Early Learning Aranda & Red Hill
Harbour Early Learning operates two state-of-the-art, purpose-built centres located in Aranda and Red Hill. Our centres are open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, 52 weeks of the year, excluding Public Holidays.
As Harbour continues to grow across the ACT, we are seeking experienced, passionate, and motivated Certificate III and Diploma qualified Educators to join our dedicated casual team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a professional group of Early Childhood Teachers and Educators who are committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families while setting a new benchmark in early learning.

Qualifications & Experience
§ Certficate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
§ Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training.
§ Current Child Protection and Child Safety Training.
§ Current Working with Vulnerable People Card.
§ Current Food Handlers certificate (or willingness to obtain).
§ Clear National Police Check.
§ Australian citizen or permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
§ Previous experience working with children aged birth to 5 years and demonstrated understanding of current education and care legislation regulations and guidelines.
Tasks & Responsibilities
§ Create a child safe environment that acknowledges and encourages each and every child's agency and participation.
§ Facilitate learning opportunities founded on children's interests.
§ Work collaboratively with a team of ECT, Diploma and Certificate III qualified professionals.
§ Develop and maintain positive and welcoming relationships with families.
§ Follow centre's philosophy, policies and procedures.
