About the opportunity
Develop and implement individual and group activity programs.
Encourage resident participation based on interests and abilities.
Assist with outings, events, and special celebrations.
Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and feedback.
Collaborate with care staff and families to tailor activities.
Monitor and report changes in residents' behavior or mood.
What you'll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Creativity in planning meaningful activities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Understanding of dementia and other age-related conditions.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
Valid NDIS clearance
Certificate in First Aid and CPR
A minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role within the aged care sector, with a strong understanding of older adults' needs and preferences.
